Colourful Cheers !!

Today is a day of colour
Or so the people say;

Many celebrate with fervour
And with joyous abandon play;

Happy faces shine in glamour
In each and every alleyway;

The brilliant hues I savour
Reminiscing a long ago day;

Wishing my friends much splendour
And happy colours in life’s walkway!!
