My Trysts with Nature
Does nature ever whisper a song in you ear?
Do you ever hear nature’s stories?
Do you perceive nature’s emotions?
Do you ever see reflections of people you love in nature?

I do.
I love nature.
I am happiest when I am surrounded by nature’s beauty.
I see love and life in nature.
I see reflections of the people I love in nature.
I perceive many an ‘Unexpressed Emotions’ in nature!

Nature’s songs bring a smile to my lips!
Every life in nature is a world unto itself…..waiting to be explored.
Every creature in nature expresses many emotions;
love, loss, longing, success, failure, loneliness, joy;
if only we would discern.

The gentle river, the caressing breeze, the romantic moon, the assuring sun,
the playful hills, the majestic mountain, the boundless ocean,
the encompassing sky, the simple plants, the wild animals and even
the unseen planets…all enrich this universe in their own way.
Everything in this universe speaks a language which we can understand;
If only we would take the time to stop and listen.
If only we would care enough to understand and appreciate.

I wish to share here the untold stories….that nature whispers to me
when I am in my deepest solitude; in my most profound state!
I hope to share the unexpressed emotions of nature - the way I perceive them.
Nature’s beauty, just like love, cannot be captured in all its glory in words…I am only
going to try.
Many have attempted before me, and many will after me.

‘My Trysts with Nature’ will be a series on my perceptions about nature;
her songs; his stories; her emotions.
These stories and songs will be my loving tribute to the Nature I love so much;
the nature that nourishes my soul.

Wishing nature shares all of her joys and beauty with everyone of us.
Hoping that we all do our bit to preserve this beauty.
Imploring that we make a conscious effort to enjoy her wealth responsibly.
Let’s pledge to replace what we take from nature;
So that our children can interact with nature and listen to these
songs and stories themselves.
