Reflected Light – Sunset & Moonrise

Can you sojourn a little longer Sun ?

Cos’ I do not want my night begun ;

At peace I do not ever sleep

I wait for U’r first ray to peep ;

In your warmth I bask

And my sorrows I mask ;

Broken are the dreams I spun

The dark and cold night I shun ;

Do not so quickly go far away

And leave me in solitude to stay ;

For at this loneliness I shudder

When we are so torn asunder ;

On other side of the world you have duty

And cannot accompany me for eternity ;

But just shine on me a little brighter

PLease stay with me a little longer ;

For I need to absorb your bright light

And reflect on my dark world all night ;

Eternally dependent on you is my soft glow

Do you object if your illumination I borrow?

Is it already time to say our bye ?

Not a problem to accept this, I lie ;

Do come calling back Sun

Waiting here is your Moon .
