 Here’s the hot summer season

Celebration for a sweet reason ;

      

All around is seen a ripe mango

Makes everyone do a quick tango ;

                 

The fruit makes us all go gaga

And break into a frenzied raga ;

                    
Makes every meal much happier

Its fan list includes tots in diapers !!

                                     
Mulgoa, banganapally or alphonso

All are a treat for this weather so ;

                                
Sour & ripe or fresh & juicy

Beat the heat and be bouncy ;

                                   
Thick and creamy is the lassi 

Can anything be more tasty ?!

                     
Delicious is a mango ice cream

Every kid in delight screams !

 

Excuse me, I’ve got to go and indulge

Guess the kid in me will never change

 

I’m off to a summer’s picnic

In a mango grove so scenic !!
