No to Violence

                                                       

What purpose achieve these acts of violence ?

Other than disturb society’s peaceful silence.

 

Crippling and numbing are these blasts

Can it be justified by any arguments ?

                 

Did the dead know what cause they died for ?

Or do the living grasp who makes this life a terror ?

 

Their near and dear ones who are far and away

Can just hope for loved ones safety, in dismay ;

 

Agreed, complex and unending are these political issues

But please don’t harm us, the general public, nevertheless.
