A Dance with Death – Pining for a Reprise
At me you made a firm pass
Exactly one long year ago ;
You imposed your closeness
Forcibly swirling me in a tango .
Then I had dreaded your abyss
And your proposal I did forgo ;
But ever since I sadly thee miss
And await your arrival, my amigo .
I had feared your unknown darkness
But more painful is this world’s lingo ;
Here I am impatiently breathless
Unbearable is this life I undergo .
Wearied I am with sleeplessness
Come, relieve me from this vertigo ;
Don’t just on my hands lightly kiss
And leaving me lonely swiftly go .
Embrace and take me in your arms
Hold me in the peace I lost long ago.
I know it is easy for us to say this – but don’t ever lose hope – your life is much too precious for your friends and family around you. You can still give so much back to the world and cause a significant difference in many lives.
YOUR EMOTIONS ARE UNDERSTANDABLE. YOU ARE RIGHT FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW, THAT TOO FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT. THE SAME MAY NOT HOLD GOOD AFTER SOME TIME. IF YOU GO THRO THE SAME POEM AFTER SOMETIME, MAY BE YEAR OR SO IT WILL APPEAR RIDICULOUS TO YOU.
DEATH IS THE NATURAL THING TO HAPPEN TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER ONE LIKES IT OR NOT. BUT IT IS NOT CORRECT FROM ANY POINT OF VIEW TO INVITE IT, WAIT FOR IT OR TO LONG FOR IT. IT IS NOT IN ONE’S HAND.
NO DOUBT YOU HAVE BEEN DRIVEN TO A SITUATION TO PEN SUCH A POEM. YOU ARE USEFUL TO YOURSELF, AND MAY BE TO YOUR KINS AND LOVED ONES. THERE ARE SOME IN THE WORLD WHO CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT YOU. IS IT NOT YOUR DUTY TO LIVE FOR THEM, REMAIN CHEARFUL AND DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE?
EVERYTHING IS PREDETERMINED. WE ARE JUST PAWN IN THE HANDS OF DESTINY.
FACE THE SITUATION BOLDLY. CONVERT THE ADVERSITY INTO OPPORTUNITY. BELIEF IN YOURSELF. YOU HAVE TREMENDOUS POTENTIAL TO MAKE A NAME FOR YOURSELF.
LIFE IS A CHALLENGE AND FACE IT. YOU BELIEVE THAT LOT REMAINS TO BE DONE IN YOUR LIFE. LIFE HAS MANY PLEASANT THINGS IN STORE FOR YOU.
