Year Two Thousand and Eight

Has slowly passed out of sight ;

Some were moments of cheer

Most days lugged as spells dire .

          
A masked sun shone on me again

A candle to my sorrows was its grin ;

An interim relief from engulfing eclipse

Till darkness returns with renewed force .

                                                
Some friendly flowers in my garden 

Had bloomed to my burdens lighten ;

Thanks to 2008 for all the smiles

Some that cared  inspite of the miles .

                                                                         
Will all those I cherish dearly

Be with me till my end lovingly ?

Will in Two Thousand and Nine

Eternal happiness atlast be mine ?

                                                                         
Questions that I in  angst  ask my  fate

Wishing it gives me  answers complete .
